cupMadison, WI—On Sunday evening, January 8, 2012, the Christian Science Organization in Madison will be trying out a new idea—we'll be hosting an informal reading of the Christian Science weekly Bible Lesson. This lesson is read across the world in Christian Science churches, and the Madison church, as always, will be hosting its regular, uplifting church service at 10:00 AM and you are very much encouraged to attend that too.

Our informal reading will take place at 7:00 PM and will feature passages not just from the King James Version but also more modern Bible translations as well, and will allow time for discussions and questions. For this first round, we've selected two readers—Bill Kilgour and myself—but we're hoping that if we continue this format we can rotate the readers each time.

So we hope you can join us this Sunday evening for this fun and uplifting experiment, reading the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy together. The subject of this particular week's lesson is Sacrament. Looking forward to sharing ideas with you on Sunday!

WHEN: Sunday, January 8, 2012, 7:00 PM
WHERE: 315 N Mills St, Madison, WI
