Committee discusses best approach for sharing lecture with community

Brookfield, WI—The Lecture Committee of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Brookfield met today to discuss their public lecture scheduled for Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 7:00 PM. The lecture will be held at the Brookfield Public Library Community Room. International speaker, Mark Swinney will speak on The Healing Effect of your Prayers.

The committee's six members discussed ideas of how to best advertise the lecture to bring a better understanding of Christian Science to their community. The definition of advertise was noted as "to make known." Words from the Christian Science Hymnal emphasized that  the lecture will make known God's wonderful works and healing love. (Hymn 339)
