As I was rocking my grandchild, the inspired thought came to me how well protected by God she is. My dog, Morgan, also watches over her and is near her all the time. This thought of protection reminded me how the Lord’s Prayer has protected me all my life. It has been at my side just like Morgan is at Sidney’s side.
If something keeps me up at early morning, I instantly turn to the Lord’s Prayer. If I need an answer for something and can’t seem to get a grip on it, I turn to this prayer many times. I can’t really say which part of the Lord’s Prayer I like most because at times one or two parts might help or sometimes all of it is needed. Whatever God wants me to know is revealed. I cherish this prayer with all my heart. It gives me a loving, warm feeling from my Father and how sweet it is.
