The February 12, 2012 Christian Science Bible Lesson is Soul.

• Never give up. If your life journey seems to be riddled with tough spots, a deeper understanding of God puts you back on the right track. Jacob learned to rely on God alone for help. Through a mighty struggle, he broke through the incorrect view of himself and saw his true nature—an innocent, good, loved child of God. Check out section 1.

• Communication and cooperation with others is essential for spiritual progress. Jesus said loving God with all your heart is the greatest commandment. But he immediately followed that with, “And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” (Matthew 22:39)
• Soul is not lost because of sin. If you take a wrong turn, God is still there, loving you.
